Hey There, my name  is Matthew Hughes but you can call me Matt. I would like to welcome you to 5/8 photography.

I grew up in a family obsessed with Photography and most often there was a camera in one of the family members hands. Needless to say, those were the building blocks making me into the person I am today. I attended Tshwane University of Technology where I achieved my National Diploma in Photography. 

 

This business of mine (and more recently my wife too) was started in the later parts of my second year at varsity (2011) and has been on the rise ever since. I have had to grow over the years as a person and a business, learning from my mistakes and trusting in God every step of the way.

My Christian Faith plays a huge role in who I am as a person and where my business dreams are headed. I believe in giving back in whatever ways I can but more strongly, I believe in teaching others to help themselves.
